Talking about a person I admire

 Marie Curie

Hello everyone

The person I admire is Marie Curie, because she is an extraordinary scientist, who despite living in an era where she was looked down upon just because she was a woman, she was able to carry out a series of discoveries that until now Today they are useful to humanity.



Among his contributions, he stands out for the discovery of many new elements of the periodic table and natural radioactivity, a huge source of energy that humanity could take advantage of for free and provided by the planet.



Marie Curie was born on November 7, 1867, and from a young age she was interested in researching new forms of renewable energy for the benefit of humanity. Study Physics and Chemistry, and also doctorates. He got the noble prize of Physics for his comprehensive discovery of natural radiation. Today, Marie Curie remains an important figure in the field of Chemistry and Physics.

How can your major make the world a better place

 Hello everyone The career I study, chemistry and pharmacy, is a career that throughout history has contributed to people's health. This specialty today helps in the creation of multiple medicines, and vaccines, of multiple origins and forms, to improve the population's immunity against the threat of viruses, batteries, and diseases that have recently become something common to see.  Little by little, chemistry and pharmacy have been developing new methods for creating medicines, such as nanomedicines, which is a short period have had a positive impact on general medicine.  In the future I see myself working in a large industry, contributing to the research of new drugs that help prevent diseases that today have no cure. My specialty provides the prevention, safety, and care that our health requires since I have developed multiple techniques that have been fundamental in the eradication of epidemics, diseases, and new pathologies.

A meal or food you really like

  My favorite food is "Chinese food". It is a very tasty food since it contains many types of meat such as chicken, beef, pork, and marine ingredients. It can also contain almonds, algae, chives, soybeans, special seasonings, and many others. There are many ways to prepare it, but the most common is that the vegetables are sautéed in a pan and then mixed with the already cooked meats. Along with it, you accompany it with special rice, which can bring vegetables and eggs ("Chaufa rice").   +          I like this food because the combination of flavors is spectacular and very peculiar. Combining so many ingredients is fantastic, although preparing it must be very difficult.   The impact it has on my long-term health would be negative since, even though it provides proteins and carbohydrates, it has a very high amount of salt, which can bring many complications in the future.
